Regional Print Competition 2021
The Regional Print Competition for the first round of digital entries will be open from the 1st of April 2021 to 31st May at 11.59 pm.
Due to COVID-19, we have decided to put both rounds via our online platform negating the need for prints. The top three scoring images from each region will automatically go through to the nationals FOC.
The cost is £5 per image for BIPP members and £10 per image for non-members.
Before you can enter your images you will need to have a member profile on the competition site. Files should be submitted at least 4,000 px on the longest side (no borders, keylines, watermarks or identifying information should be included).
The digital entries will be viewed and scored by five judges, and if a score of 75 the images will go to a second round
The judging will be carried out by five judges
The photographers with the highest scoring Wedding, Commercial, Portrait and Fine Art images will become the Wedding, Commercial, Portrait and Fine Art Photographers of the Year. The category winners will then be judged to choose Regional Photographer Of The Year
Judges are not eligible to enter.
These are professional photography awards, so it goes without saying that unless a category is specifically marked as ‘self-commissioned’ all work must have been commissioned and produced in a professional context. Fine Art images will have been mostly self- commissioned, but should have been created with stock or gallery sale in mind.
